Howard Homes is owned and operated by Salinas residents Ernest and Carol Howard, who work hands-on in the home to make sure each resident’s needs are being met.
For the last twenty years, Ernest Howard has been operating one of the most respected group homes for disadvantaged foster youth in the state. Under Ernest and Carol’s guidance, vision and care, the home has furthered its reputation as a nurturing, family-like residence for kids in need.
The Howards always make themselves available to residents and their families, who are encouraged to voice questions, suggestions and concerns. Moreover, Ernest and Carol stringently screen and closely supervise their staff to ensure the highest quality of care. Staff members are handpicked for their experience, qualifications and, above all, their kindness.
